William B. Kerlin

The B. is for Brooks. His obit states that Henry T. is his brother. I have found a link- although a weak one- between the 1799 marriage of Robert Kerlin and Hannah Brooks and my slew of Kerlins in Ohio. For I know, from Hannah Stephens Kerlin’s will that Henry T. was her son, as well as Robert A.

William B. was Henry T.’s brother… which means that my guess was indeed correct, that William was the older brother to Robert A.

And so I am guessing that Wesley B. Kerlin, who ends up as a bricklayer in Louisville ( and a stinkin’ slave owner) and then in Abilene, Texas, is another brother.

The rogue one.

Now, how to find that bible, those pictures and clippings that it contains ?
