Marriages
Today I received an email from Dad containing scans of the information that I had requested of the Clerk of Carroll County, Kentucky.
The first is of Wesley’s marriage to Sarah Giltner.
It tells me no more than that they were married October 7, 1844 by a Methodist minister named I. Sollard.
The second is of Sarah Kerlin’s marriage to John Giltner.
Interesting point is that she is Mrs. Sarah Kerlin, and that Wesley is no where to be found after the their marriage ( read : I can’t find him on any census after 1840), and that Wesley seems to have died in 1876.
