# ID: I0314 # Name: Sarah (Sallie) GILTNER
# Sex: F
# Birth: BET. 1792 – 1826 1 #
Death: SEP 1896 in Hunter’s Bottom, KY
# Note: Youngest daughter of Francis & Elizabeth Giltner, married her cousin, John, of Bourbon County, KY, thus returning to the home of her early childhood. She was a woman of positive convictions and consequently a forceful character, but possessed also in a remarkable degree a kindly, obliging and generout nature. Having no children, she always manifested great interest in the children of her brothers and sisters, and was regarded by them with an affection almost filial. Aunt Sallie (as she was called) gave to the church and to charity with a most liberal hand; nevertheless at her death, every child of a brother or sister was remembered with a little legacy.
